Privacy Policy

Jumbolt · Effective 15 July 2026

This policy explains what Jumbolt ("we", "the app") collects, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. We keep this deliberately short and specific.

1. Information we collect

DataWhy
Email addressTo create and sign in to your account, and to contact you about your account.
UsernameShown to other players in matches and on the leaderboard.
PasswordTo secure your account. Stored only as a salted bcrypt hash — we can never read it.
Gameplay dataYour match results, solve times and points balance — used to run matches, award points and build the leaderboard.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, payment details, or any advertising identifier. We do not use third-party analytics, ad SDKs, or tracking of any kind.

2. How we use it

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, and we never sell it.

3. Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Your username, points balance and match results are visible to other players in the game and on the public leaderboard — your email address is never shown to anyone.

Our infrastructure is hosted on Railway, which processes data solely to run the service on our behalf.

4. Security

5. Retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Home > Delete account — it is removed immediately.

Deleting your account permanently removes your email, username, password and points history. Past match records are kept in an anonymised form (no longer linked to you) for game integrity. Backups are fully purged within 30 days.

Full instructions: Delete your account.

6. Virtual points

Jumbolt uses in-game points with no real-world monetary value. Points cannot be purchased, transferred or exchanged for money or anything of value. There are no in-app purchases, no advertising and no gambling.

7. Children

Jumbolt is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time from within the app, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may also have the right to request a copy of your data or object to processing. We honour all such requests within 30 days.

9. Changes

If we make material changes we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app.
